Yes it’s true this is the 16th album already, but it is also true that in every single album there’s a new concept and a new way of developing their personal understanding of music. After their previous “Aixa” (2003) where they had the special collaboration of the Cordoba Symphonic Orchestra singing to their home town Cordoba, among others, “Medina” have kept on doing what they best do, staying by their fan’s side, touring around Spain and coming up with new songs between one gig and another, at the purest “rock way”.

Those who have been to their live shows, or those who simply dropped by, have realized that their music belongs to those thousands of fans that year after year, album after album, demand new songs and acclaim them at their shows.

La Estación De Los Sueños includes 13 tracks and opens up with “Puente De Luz”, the orchestra intro they love to start with in their works. The tracks follow creating an album just as varied as inspired.

Listening to this album will be delightful for many, as well as an easy reason to criticize for others, but for everybody always a show of the respect owed to one of the few survivors of the legendary Spanish Rock that still bear the fall of the national record industry. For that reason, maybe this is the moment to take a rest from the journey around this sad reality of the music industry for a while and stop at the “Station of Dreams” (“La Estación De Los Sueños”) thinking, why not? about a better future.
